Nancy joined the Upstage Productions company as a dancer for the production of “42nd Street” in 2003, and continued on with “Music Man” the following year. Enjoying the Musical Theater atmosphere, she joined the Board in 2004 as a Representative-at-Large, has served as Treasurer and Corresponding Secretary, and currently has resumed the Treasurer’s position.
Nancy can often be found performing in the ensemble of a production, and/or working backstage as part of the crew. Nancy says, “Community Theater is an opportunity for veteran actors to perform with and mentor newcomers, and offers many behind-the-scenes roles, in addition to those on-stage.”
It has always intrigued Nancy to watch the entire process of a production from the very thought of “what show should we do,” through the final curtain and returning the venue to its original state.
Prior to her retirement in 2021, Nancy worked in the banking industry for many years, and in the Dean of Administration’s Office at Columbia-Greene Community College.
