Upstage Productions, Inc. Announces 2026 Summer Theatre Workshops
Upstage Productions, Inc. is excited to announce its 2026 Summer Theatre Workshops, returning for a fourth year of inspiring creativity, confidence, and collaboration in local youth.
Thanks to the generosity of contributors to the Donald Dolan Memorial Fund, participation fees have been reduced to just $50 per student, per week, including workshop materials. Enrollment is open to students ages 8-18, and scholarships are available.
The workshops will be led by arts educator Michele Pierro, joined by Elizabeth Schneider, choreographer and dance instructor with Creativity in Motion, and Tracy Lynn Connor, voice and piano instructor with Music with TLC. Together, these experienced performing arts professionals provide students with a supportive and engaging environment to learn, create, and grow.
Two one-week sessions will be offered July 13-17 and July 20-24, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Reformed Dutch Church, 88 Route 9H, Claverack, NY. Students may enroll in one or both sessions. Participants will work in age-appropriate groups. Students ages 8-12 will rotate through daily classes in drama, music, and dance, collaborating to create an original performance each week. Students ages 13-18 will explore the many aspects of theatrical production while helping bring the younger students' creations to life. Each session concludes with a performance for family and friends.
Participants should bring their own lunch, snacks, and beverages.
