Tonya Carter is a long-time resident of Copake Falls, New York. She has been a Hairdresser for 40 years, having worked for the Headhunter Family Haircutters in Hillsdale, New York for 33 years before buying her own salon six years ago. She is deeply involved with her local county communities, donating to charities such as Bingo fundraisers and her local food pantry.
Tonya is honored to now serve on the Board of Directors for Upstage Productions. She has served on other committees such as VICA at the local vocational school while attending
cosmetology school, the Policy Council for the Head start program, and Vestry at her local church.
Tonya has been a lifelong lover of theater, attending multiple shows over her lifetime and watching her daughter grow in theater since Elementary school. She loves helping behind the
scenes watching every element of the show come together!
